
Iracema Alvarez Huiman
Iracema Alvarez Huiman (b Lima, Peru) is a writer and independent curator. She works directly with artists in grant writing, production and administrative assistance, as well as writing art criticism and essays independently.
She completed her BA with honors in Art History and French at NYU ‘19, having spent some years in Paris, France and Florence, Italy. Since then she has worked with artists Milagros de la Torre, Miriam Parker, Joan Thorne and Marisa Michelson x Constellation Chor, completed internships at Cristin Tierney Gallery and The Metropolitan Museum of Art and currently works with artists as well as a curatorial assistant to Miguel A. Lopez for an upcoming exhibition.
She lives and works travelling between Lima, Peru and New York, NY.
