Kalliopi Siamidou

Kalliopi Siamidou was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. She is a dancer and choreographer that has a strong background in latin dances and hip hop styles. After moving to NY in 2015, she has been focusing on deconstructing different techniques of dance styles she is familiar with, and developing her own personal work. Her first piece First Touch was performed at The New School at Women Between Arts in February 2019.

Kalli is a founding member of Constellation Chor and had the pleasure of being part of the world premiere of Filament by Ashley Fure at Lincoln Center with the New York Philharmonic, premiering Sarah Hennies’ piece with Claire Chase at The Kitchen and many more magical moments in Iceland and Greece where she performed with the Chor.

Kalli is also part of a salsa dance company, Baila Society and a very passionate dance teacher, passing on her joy of movement to humans of all ages.
